Montenegro FOLK FEST 2016 was organized by the NGO „Guardians of the folk tradition“ and Hotel „Lovcen“ in Sutomore.

The festival was attended by folk ensembles, original and singing groups, soloists and instrumentalists. All participants of the festival had a few performances each, the opening ceremony of the festival at the Hotel „Lovćen“, concerts in Bar and Budva. Performing ensembles were from Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Russia … Each group performed the program for a period of 20 minutes, and the festival is supported by the city of Bar.
